CARVRE SEVEN appointed Jabu Event company Bangkok as the event organizers for the annual C7 International Logistics Convention 2019 for the 2nd time in a row. Jabu Event company Bangkok has now been involved with this convention for 3 consecutive years. In 2017 for the inaugural edition, Jabu Events were tasked with organizing the entertainment for the event. As the entertainment was very well received CARVRE SEVEN offered the entire event management for the 2018 edition to Jabu Events. Jabu Events not only managed the entertainment but also successfully organized the 2018 convention. Subsequent to successfully organizing the 2018 convention, Jabu Events were offered the responsibility again to organize the 2019 edition.
C7 CONVENTION
The CARVRE SEVEN C7 Convention is an annual convention for companies who are part of the global logistics industry. These include freight forwarders, clearing agents, shippers and more. Delegates from logistics companies from each and every continent attended this event. The C7 Convention is essentially a networking event for quality logistics companies looking to expand their business. Only companies that are qualified by the CARVRE SEVEN membership association may attend this event. The luxurious Bangkok Marriott Marquis hotel hosted the 2019 convention from 28th April to 1st May 2019. Over 200 delegates from around the world attended the convention.
DAY 1
Day 1 kicked off with a Casino Theme welcome dinner. Guests got to network and break the ice with other members over a game of Black Jack, Poker or Roulette. Even though no real money involved, guests enthusiastically participated and thoroughly enjoyed playing these games. Jabu Events not only organized the casino set-up but also the dealers to man these tables. By the end of the night guests were having so much fun that they just didn’t want to leave. Dinner included a scrumptious buffet and some fun cocktails. This was a great ice-breaking event and delegates got the chance to get to know one another in a more casual setting.
DAY 2
The second day was the official start of the Convention. The convention commenced at the main ballroom with an address delivered by the CEO of CARVRE SEVEN. In his address to delegates, he laid out objectives and future plans for their association. A group photo followed his address. Subsequently, all members got down to business with one-on-one meetings organized in a speed dating format. All members had 15 minutes per meeting and once done they moved on to their next meeting. Many members also booked exhibition-style booths where they displayed and discussed services that they offer. Goji restaurant, which boasts of one of the most lavish buffets in all of Bangkok was the venue for lunch.
The hotel’s private smaller pool was the venue for the evening cocktail event. This was a Live Voting event where guests got to vote for their favorite companies across various categories. An LED screen displayed live results as members were voting. Jabu Events also organized an amazing walk around magician and kept delegates entertained and mesmerized with his magic. This fun evening ended with many of the guests in the pool.
DAY 3
This day also included all-day business meetings as well as a lunch at Goji restaurant. Delegates assembled at Sala Thai Ballroom for the Awards Event once their meetings were over. At the awards, winners from the live voting session were announced. Guests came dressed in their finest Red-Carpet outfits and looked dashing. The awards included some amazing custom-created entertainment fillers. These included a Thai Cultural Show, International Dance Shows, Violist, Saxophonist, and an amazing DJ. An after-party followed the awards show and delegates didn’t hesitate to show off their best moves. Delegates thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
DAY 4
The fourth day was a lighter business day keeping in mind the excessive partying from the previous night’s event. The first half of the day included one-one-one meetings followed by lunch at Goji restaurant. All in all the convention was a massive success with delegates stating they couldn’t wait for the next edition in 2020.
